Castle Conquest

#Castle Conquest XXVII# Castle Conquest was a LOT of fun. Maybe the most intense paintball we've ever played. It was interesting playing with East Coast people. There was RAMPANT cheating/wiping by the attackers (particularly the New Yorkers, lol) but counteracting it were easily the best group of referees we as a squad have EVER seen. Those guys were on top of everything, decisive and firm, had NO ego problems but at the same time were AWESOME about jumping right in and pulling out someone who had been hit. They were downright helpful, which was refreshing and really made the game a lot of fun. The game is well run, the architecture of the re-insertion/dead box is something I'd like to see incorporated into the NW games. Overall just a fabulous, intense, fun, amazing day of paintball. We paired up with the East Coast squad Misdirected Hostilities and ran with them most of the day, hung out with them at their bunkhouse and they were gracious, fantastic hosts and GREAT guys to play paintball with.
